Tongariro, egmont and raglan holiday 25.12.09 till 04.01.10

On the 25th we drove to tongariro NP(national Park). On the 31st we drove on to egmont NP. On the 3rd we finally drove to raglan! We did a lot of hiking in the NP's. We hiked to lots of beautifull falls, springs and lakes.

Tongariro NP:
Mt Ruapehu still had snow on the top and the weather was not too good. Heike(A friend from Germany) only saw them once!!


Egmont NP:
He dissapeared on our last day. The surf highway was not interesting at all!!!!Our Backpackker was really nice and we had a great time.

Light festival

At night time we went to a Light festival in New Plymouth. It was GREAT! One of the best things was the black light. It looked like this:On the ground were coloured stones that glew too. Also on the side of the path were coloured stones which glew aswell!!! It looked awesome!
